Sitting chairpersons, Chairpersons of Committees or aspiring Chairpersons.\nThe objectives are to:\n\nIntroduce the roles, responsibilities and duties of the chairperson and the impact that an effective chair has on the profile of a council.\nConsider a chairperson’s contribution to effective meetings and council decision making and his/her partnership with the clerk.\n\nRunning Time: Approximately 2 hours depending on Q&A\nThe session will be held via zoom and joining instructions will be sent nearer to the date.\nCancellation: A full refund will be given if 14 days or more notice prior to the date of the training course is given.
